In the Gospel of John, the 15th Chapter, Jesus talks about connection among people, himself, and God the Father.  We're all connected to Christ, like branches on a grapevine are connected to the vine itself.  Like the branches in Jesus' example, we draw life—eternal life—through that One Vine.  An authentic church is the place where the vine and the branches come together.  That's where the branches bear fruit...and that's the church Grace Community is called to be.
