We're not concerned about styles of worshipping and praising...only that worship and praise at Grace Community Church are offered from sincere hearts, and are authentically vital and relevant to the lives of people. Worship and praise at Grace Community Church are open, informal, comfortable, alive with music and Spirit led. We believe God inhabits the worship and praise of his people by the power of his Holy Spirit. We always want worship and praise at Grace Community Church to connect people to God through that power, to illuminate our call to faith through that power, and to bring our vision for ministry together alive through that power.
Worship is a community thing...
...it's the way we together acknowledge God's awesome power in his creation, feed on his living Word, shelter in his covenant promise. Worship is how we bring the rhythms and truths of God's unfolding human story into the rhythms and values of our own lives, together.
Praise is a connection thing...
...it's our thankful, hope-filled response to what God has done and is doing in our lives. It's always a part of our gathering for worship, and always a part of our daily living. It's the singing and movement of our joy. It's the voice and tears of our grief. It's the un-quiet experience of God at work among us, in us, and connecting us
